Rider Club Football was established in 2010 to build a long term, self-sustaining football program that feeds into Roosevelt High School by providing 3rd to 7th graders with a safe and encouraging environment to learn the great game of football.

Practice Starts Monday the 14th

Practices will start next week!  Until the first week of the season all teams will have four practices per week.  Each team's practice schedule is slightly different so be sure to check them out here:

You can subscribe to these schedules on your phone using Google, Apple iCal or Outlook using the "Options" menu at the top right.

Games will be inserted into these schedules as soon as we have that information.

THE FIRST PRACTICE WILL BE PRECEDED BY A PARENT MEETING, PLEASE BE SURE TO ATTEND THE FIRST PRACTICE AND MEET WITH YOUR TEAM'S COACH.

Equipment Pickup - Makeup Session

If you have not yet gotten your equipment we will be having one more Equipment Fitting and Handout.  The first practices on Monday the 14th will be in helmets and cleats only.

When: Sunday, August 13th - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Where: Equipment Building between Roosevelt and Hubbell (Enter Center Street at Hubbell Elementary and park in Hubbell Parking Lot)

Who: Any player that has not yet gotten equipment

If you have not paid please come to this session to make arrangements.

We’re getting closer and closer to the start of the season!
 
If you haven’t registered your player yet, please do so by the end of the week at http://riderclubfootball.com so we will know what additional equipment we need to get.
 

Here's what's coming up

  • Friday 7/28: GOLF OUTING! – We still have a few spots available.  You can pay on-site or online here: http://riderclubfootball.com/Page.asp?n=107737
  • Saturday 7/29: EQUIPMENT HANDOUT: https://goo.gl/ppqD8E From 8am to Noon on Saturday we’ll have volunteers on-site at the Equipment Building in between Hubbell Elementary and Roosevelt High to distribute equipment.  Payments can be made at this location for players too.
  • Sunday 7/30: SKILLS AND DRILLS: https://goo.gl/aPcVZZFrom 7:00 to 8:30 young Riders will run through some drills and have fun with our USA Football certified coaches at Callanan Middle School
  • Tuesday 8/1: EQUIPMENT HANDOUT: Our only weeknight session 6 to 8pm Tuesday we’ll have volunteers on-site at the Equipment Building in between Hubbell Elementary and Roosevelt High to distribute equipment.  Payments can be made at this location for players too.

IMPORTANT - Equipment Handouts - NEW PROCESS THIS YEAR!

NEW EASY EQUIPMENT HANDOUTS!

Make sure to sign up on http://riderclubfootball.com, pay... and then come get your player sized and equipped this Saturday!

Instead of having two separate large Equipment Handouts with Parent Meetings, this year there will be four smaller Equipment Handout sessions.  Parent meetings will be later with your team’s head coach, closer to the start of practices in mid-August. All players MUST attend ONE of these Equipment Handouts.
 
Please bring your player to Equipment Handout this Saturday morning (7/22) from 8am to Noon at the equipment shed in-between Hubbell Elementary and Roosevelt High School.  It’s a two-story brick building right next to the Roosevelt track.  Enter Center Street by turning west from 42nd Street.


 
Register your player at http://riderclubfootball.com
  • Registering online before arriving will save you time at the Handout, you’ll only need to have your player fitted and receive equipment
  • Payment of at least 50% must have been made before equipment can be distributed
  • Payment can be made online at any time on http://riderclubfootball.com
  • If you’d prefer to write a check or do not have a computer you can sign up at the Equipment Handout, we will have computers/tablets
Players will be measured for and will receive:
  • Practice Pants
  • Practice Jerseys
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Helmets / Chin Straps
    (Game Jerseys will be distributed by coaches at a later date)
Only two equipment handouts remaining:
  • Sunday, Aug 13 - 4:00p to 6:00p
  • Monday, Aug 14 - 4:30p to 6:00p
Practice will begin the week of August 14th. Full payment must be made on all accounts will be required by August 15th unless arrangements are made.  If you have questions about payments or scholarships please email   or talk to one of our Program Coordinators (Jen Velde or Heather Minear) at the Equipment Handouts.
